Steve Medius Private Limited was founded in 2014 with the mission to build multimedia mobile applications that improve the quality of life of urban residents. Combined with the power of social networking, we are designing applications to promote community bonding and empower residents with tools to participate in local governance.
With the mobile phone’s spectacularly growing presence across all socio-economic sections, web-based communication solutions are more accessible to the masses. And with the 4G rollout along with concerted initiatives like Digital India, we are looking at a future where more and more daily activities will be carried out on electronic platforms.
That future is the inspiration behind our ideas too.
Ready to weave its web within the web-world is a mobile application that will provide a community collection point for Delhi’s Resident Welfare Associations. City Spidey is an application that addresses security and administrative concerns of local governance bodies with tools like resident registry, community alerts, e-voting, booking calendars, discussion forums and more. It is our mission to make this interactive platform the go-to tool for effective grassroots governance and citizen participation.
As we roll out new features, it will become a one-stop app for all inter-community and intra-community initiatives, from hyper-local news and discussions to micro-local services.
So watch this space for City Spidey to start spinning its hyperlocal web from October 2015 in New Delhi, NOIDA, Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Gurgaon and Faridabad. Soon we’ll cover the whole of India.
